IFA Administrator – Full Time
Location: Shrewsbury (Office-based)
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience and qualifications

We are seeking a proactive, organised, and detail-focused IFA Administrator to join a well-established financial planning business. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrator, ideally with financial services exposure, to play a key role in supporting advisers and delivering a high-quality client experience.
You’ll work closely with financial planners, paraplanners, and client service professionals, helping ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the business while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.
The Role
As an IFA Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
Client Documentation & Communication
- Preparing and issuing Letters of Authority and liaising with providers to obtain information
- Producing portfolio valuations for client review meetings
- Preparing client packs for review and prospective client meetings
- Regularly liaising with clients, servicing them to a high standard
Systems & Data Management
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records on the back-office system
- Supporting compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements
Office Administration
- Managing incoming and outgoing post, scanning, printing, and filing
- Monitoring adviser diaries and ensuring paperwork is prepared ahead of meetings
- Managing office supplies and supporting efficient information flow across the business
Task & Workload Management
- Prioritising tasks effectively and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
About You
Essential
- Strong administration experience
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Confident using Microsoft Office
Desirable
- Previous experience within financial services or IFA administration
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
